The WebALT Team has recently enabled MathJax support in its moodle services. This means that the mathematical expressions on WebALT moodle pages can even be rendered orally in English. This feature is especially helpful for students who are blind or partially sighted. For those with limited vision, assistive technologies, like magnification, are very helpful.
