WebALT Inc. has developed a system that allows students to answer Real Time quiz questions by sending SMS messages to a server. This is powerful technology enabling instructors to embed Assessment for Learning to their instruction. Assessment becomes continuous, and instructors get immediate feedback from everybody in the class room, not only from the active few.
